Cca or B2ca: which cable do you choose?

When selecting an installation cable, the CPR fire class is decisive. This regulation specifies the fire behavior of cables, where you look at fire propagation, smoke emission, flaming droplets, and corrosive gases. For your selection, you take into account the requirements from the Besluit bouwwerken leefomgeving (Dutch building Decree) and, depending on the project, the additional regulations from the NEN 8012-2. This standard specifically factors in consequential damage in the event of a fire.
