Application
MPRX® - F cable type is used for lighting distribution on board of ships in all public areas complying with IEC standards 60092-352. MPRX® - F type withstands the IEC 60332-3-22 fire test on bunched cables and performs to the SOLAS requirements.
MPRX F and the connecting system
Due to its flat shape and the connecting system based on insulation and sheath piercing principe, this cable makes easy deviation links. This system offer a quick connexion in a reduced installation time. It is mainly used for lighting lines in false ceilings (power supply for a row of light).
Design
All materials used to produce this cable are halogen free. This design ensures that non corrosive and low toxic gases are emitted in case of fire. Therefore, this cable type is especially designed for installations on passenger ships.
