Splice Closure WCA

Application

Sealing system :

• The closure sealing system is based on a gasket: the dome can be easily installed and removed without special tools or torque control.

• Cable sealing is based on heat-shrinks.

Splice management :

Fibres and splices are managed in up to four stackable FiberArt modules (12 splice trays each) allowing future upgrade of the network by simply adding new modules on the stack.

Cable anchoring :

• FO cables are clamped by external stainless steel collars and anchored with cable clamps (included).

L.I.N.X. WCA allows high density loose tube and tight buffer fibres storage, identification, protection and management in a very compact system.

The LINX WCA Splice case is designed for enclosing underground cable splices in particularly hostile environments. Particularly designed for high density, compact application in sewer ducts, the WCA can fit any installation environment where an higher level of protection is required.

The main functions are :

• to protect splices and bare fibers from the environment and unwanted handlers,

• to efficiently and easily store, manage and identify FO splices and fibers.
