Watertight closure for Optical Ground Wires

The main functions are :
- Storage, identification and protection of splices and bare fibers from the environment and unwanted handlers,
- Efficient clamping and fan-out of OPGW and branching cables.

Cabling configuration :
- Butt (2 cable port),

Fiber management :
Several fiber management solutions are available :
- Standard splice trays,
- FiberArt.
All configurations are modular and allow easy upgrades.
Grounding :
- Electrical continuity is assured between OPGW.
- Standard grounding assures electrical continuity between all cable ports (an external grounding plug is also available).
Cable anchoring :
OPGW :
- Stainless Steel 4 screws clamps or,
- Universal cable clamps.
Branching Cables :
- 3-points cable clamp or,
- 3-point anchoring.
WTC1-OPGW allows direct splicing and branching for a wide range of diameters and OPGW structures.
