Description

Application

This interconnecting cable is used for the transmission of digital signals with a max. frequency up to 100MHz in railway rolling stock for use with RJ 45. Transmission requirements according to EN 50288-2-2.

 Construction:

Core/ conductor: tinned copper braid, AWG 22/7

insulation: cross linked polyolefin insulation

quad: four cores are twisted to a star quad

wrapping: minimum 1 layer of a plastic non woven tape with overlap

screen: plastics coated aluminium-foil permissible;  tinned copper braid, coverage app. 85% Diameter app. 4,7mm.

seperating layer: non woven tape permissible

sheath: cross linked, halogen free, mineral oil and fuel resistance HFFR sheath EM 104 according to EN 50264-1 colour: black, optional other colours. For all colours except black you have to check UV resistance.
