Characteristics & Applications
This reinforced cable is designed for indoor and outdoor installation (by pulling or blowing). Its LSZH-FR sheath complies with indoor/Outdoor installation.
It contains up to 6 tubes with up to 12 fibres per tube.
The cable characteristics are the following:
- Central FRP strength element (Fiber Reinforced Plastic)
- Tubes filled with Jelly
- Dry waterproof structure
- All dielectric design
- Rodent resistance with Glass yarns
- Up to 72 fibres
- Low smoke Zero halogen outer sheath.
* This cable is not suitable for direct burial
Nexans fibre cable MG LSZH can include MM62.5, MM50 and SM G652 fibres.
For MM we offer different grades of fibre to suit your application: GIGAlite, GIGAlite II, GIGAlite 3 (MM50 only) or GIGAlite 4 (MM50 only).
Installation
- Set cutter blade at 1.50 mm
- Cut and remove the outer sheath
- Cut the glass yarns and the central strength member (FRP)
