Description

Applications

For fixed installations in communication, radio, control anddata processing facilities on ships and offshore units in alllocations and on open decks.

The cables meet the flame test requirements for bunched cablesacc.to IEC 60332-3 and IEEE 45-18.13, and perform to the SOLASrequirements.

All cable materials are free of halogens. This design ensuresthat non corrosive and low toxic gases emitted in case of fire.Therefore, these cables are especially suitable for installation onpassenger ships.

 

Design

  1. Conductor: stranded bare copper (7 wires)
  2. Insulation: HEPR (cross linked hardgrade ethylene propylenerubber)
  3. Laying up: pair stranding (2 pair cable=quad stranding)
  4. Armouring: separator tape, bare copper braid, separator tape(optional)
  5. Outer sheath: polyolefin, colour: black

Core Identification

Colours of each pair: white/blue.
The cores or each pair are printed with same numbers, starting in centre with number 1.
